MAX DAY : 'S DIGITAL CAN TOUCH

Max Day : Digital Can Touch is a concept of an event that has an objective to promote Digital music in order to make it more approachable to people. It's going to be held in front of Siam Discovery Shopping Center on 17th May 2008.
The Neon structure has been experimented to interact with people while walking into the concert inside this event.


Max Day : It's NOT a SPIDER WEB, it's a NEON WEB!!!!!

If it's called "SPIDER WEB" which 2K Pitak team (construction suplier team) are "SPIDER MAN " !!!!! Thank you for p'pitak, p' joe p' nim Lightsource and his/her stronger team


APOSTROPHY'S just completed production of MAX DAY by FM. MAX radio 94.5 mhz (Skyhigh network Co.,Ltd). on 17.MAY.08 at Siam Discovery Plaza, BKK. We were involved in the whole process from creative, stage design,Lighting design, Interactive Installation, visual graphic Vj and Lj (lighting jocky) perform. SPIDER WEB in the real world !!!! Thank p' note p' art p' hyun and every one who make it real

Max Day : Digital Can Touch in 3D : The interactive process used in creating this structure is physically computing process which uses a sensor that interacts with people's reaction to the neon structure and also links with a MICRO CONTROLLER.

Max Day : Digital Can Touch in 3D : The neon web has 2 working systems which ....

One works during the concert is playing like LJing (Lighting Jokey), a newly experimented type of playing with motion graphics (moving lights) instead of VJing and projecting only on to flat screens.

Second is an interactive mode which is highlighted when none of the concert is playing. This is when the neon structure can be interactive with people and starts to change its colours like a domino effect.

The First heart of spider web (Interactive system/Digital can touch/when you touch, the light glows) : compound with prezo sensor,arduno bord ,delay, switch and more. Thanks P'bell & Nong Rom for teaming in interactive system.

The Second heart of spider web (LJs: lighting jocky/you can play lighting as the lively organic life) : compound with Dimmer unit, DMX bord, wiring system and more. The Spider web has 25 channels inside. Thanks P'Joe and P'nim Light soure Co.,Ltd for teaming in Lighting system.

Coke "KAO SOI" (Coke in the RICE LANE) at FAT FESTIVAL / CHIANGMAI

Fat music festival (A collaborative project between Embassy Co.,Ltd and Apostropy’S) is a music event which has been held every year. Fortunately, the festival was so popular that it is going to spread out to other regions. Chiangmai was chosen as the first northern platform for the event and was held on 8th Feb 2008.





















Coke Pavillion is one of the booths in this music event. The objective is to promote itself as an everlasting refreshing drink and getting people to drink it. The first concept that came out is “Up-life Refreshing” which shows how much refreshing it is to drink COKE!!!
Coke Pavillion : “Million Faces” One of the refreshing activities after opening up the rice filed. It is where people could come and pretend they were celebs!!!
As people walked in and out, the booth kept changing in how it looked – opening and closing. The Pavillion space was created by everybody and had to open it up to get refreshment!!

Coke Pavillion : Conceptual Diagram The key word we got from the client is “Coke Kao-Soy” which means “Coke In the Lane” or “Kao-soy” also means “northern rice noodles with coconut milk soup”. Also, it was like a play-on-word so it led to mixing two meanings together and presenting it in making the booth as a rice field which people could walk into it like walking into a lane of rice by opening up the very dense red rubber tubes put together all over the booth. Once the tubes are moved or opened up, there come the refreshing activities which were put in the “Crop Circles”.
